Widex Compass GPS 4.8 - New Release - May 2024

Unfortunately I missed the memo about upgrading from V4.7 to V4.8 before the upgrader stops working. Please would you PM me a download link? Thank you very much!

Choose language during install, or uninstall/install.
 
It can only be installed in English.
Any other language will cause the installation to fail.
Are there any language packs available?

For multi-language and the latest version 4.8;
Try installing Widex Compass GPS 4.7 first before installing Widex Compass GPS 4.8

The DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) access portals are at your finger tips via 24/7 cloud storage access.
  • Start here → DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) to find the access portals
  • You can easily find the Access Portals again/anytime, by clicking any PVC Avatar (click twice - counting the 2nd popup Avatar)
  • When logged in, you can find the Access Portals again/anytime, by clicking a Link in my Signature
  • And finally, you can perform a simple Internet search for "DIY School Hearing Aids"

Widex Compass GPS 4.8 (or latest version) is hidden. You will need to use the hidden software instructions suggested at the end of this document. Models; (Sheer, SmartRIC, MOMENT, EVOKE, BEYOND, UNIQUE and DREAM). Note that (Sheer = Moment) but with rechargeable battery. Installing USA Widex Compass fitting software may fail when installing in other countries, try English language.
The above models can only be programmed using Widex PRO LINK, Widex USB Link, nEARCom, and most recently the industry-standard Noahlink Wireless for only the latest models ( SmartRIC, MOMENT). Also if your hearing aids do not have the most recent firmware update, you may need to use the Widex Moment App to update the firmware in your hearing aids prior to using NoahLink Wireless.

Widex Compass V5.8 for legacy models is hidden. You need to use the hidden software instructions suggested at the end of this document. Models; CLEAR, SUPER, MENU, VITAL, Passion, mind, BABY, Inteo, AIKIA, Flash, REAL, Senso Diva, Senso Vita, Senso +, Senso P, Bravissimo, Bravo, Digital A, Logo, Quattro, Sense C).

Thanks for all your help. I could not find and test the new Compas GPS V4.8 However, I understand that programming old hearing aid units still requires Widex PRO-LINK.

Wait - What? Widex Compass GPS 4.8 is readily available. Just ask for it and perhaps another DIYer may share with you.

No that's not true, It is based on each model, and it depends on how old the legacy hearing aid is. Please read a DIY School Legacy Hearing Aids (v2.2) PDF File named (Choose Hardware-Programming Device for Widex). It shows how to find which hearing aid programming device can be used, For Example;

Can someone please send me the Widex Compass software (perhaps starting with 4.7)?
I currently have the Widex Evoke 440 and a prolink as hardware. I would be very grateful for that.
