I currently use Starkey (digital) and have Oticon (analog) as backup. I've used Oticon all my life until a few years ago. I think Starkey is OK, probably because it's digital and I'm used to analog, but that's a different story. :p

What's your hearing aid brand?
 
Phonak because they had the most powerful at the time I was looking for new aids. Wanted the most powerful so I'd have "room" for more hearing loss. Luckily my hearing is pretty steady for now.
 
I'm using Phonak these days, and all I can say is that the sound quality is better than my old Starkey hearing aid. Still getting used to wearing a digital hearing aid, though.
 
I am currently using Siemens for my digital hearing aid.

My previous analog hearing aid was Octacon. It died after I used it for 15 years. :)
 
Phonak Naida V UP, both ears which I just got this summer.

I had one Oticon Tego Pro, for my right ear. Had it about 4 years, had to retire it because I lost too much hearing, it didn't have enough juice. Had Analogs for both ears before that, I have no idea what brand they were, I still have them, but I wore those for about 5 years? maybe.
 
I wear HearSource FreeStyle open ear hearing aids. I wore Beltones for about 7 years in the past. I am doing the "Personal Programming" thing right now, and I really like it. Very empowering and fulfilling.
 
Widex Diva's. I love the programming and the sound is really good imo. I could never go back to not being able to filter out non-voice range sounds. I'm sure once these die, I'll love my new ones too. My loss is progressive and I'm really close to maxing these out so I'm hoping they'll last long enough that I can move into the aids I'll need later. I'd hate to have to buy something in this hearing range again and only wear them a year or two.
 
My first HAs were Oticons but now I wear Unitron Moxi 6's, which I like much better. I really like the open ear feature.

Resound Ziga BTE's I have had for four years. Had Siemens full shell before that. What you have looks interesting for backups, but I have 30db at 500 and 70db at 2000 and up. Not a good fitting range for me.
 
I have Phonak Naida's right now.. They are ups and V's.. :p
borning flesh color with nail sticker on them now.

I have Blue phonak unas as my back ups, which oddly enough have found the sound to be more crisper and I been wearing them more and more lately
 
I am on the HearSource personal programmable hearing aid bandwagon. I really do enjoy being in control of my own sound settings. I wear the the "All-Rite's", which are receiver in the canal aids. They have a very clear clean sound to them. I'll describe them as having a full quality "Bose" stereo sound to them instead of a wimpy radio sound.

I have worn hearing aids almost all of my adult life. In the past I have worn Beltones, Seimens, and Starkey's.

MBC, your hearing loss is very similar to mine. I get along great.

I currently use a customized one, but I believe the internals are sourced from one of the major companies.

I have a love/hate relationship with programmables, mostly because I can't program them on my own and have to go to the HA specialist/Audiologist center every time to readjust them. I wish there was a way we could program them on our own.
 
Rexton's hearing aid

It's amazing, i've been using it for a long time. What makes it really special is that it's a mixture between digital and analog technology.

You said your First pair of hearing aids were Oticon was that BTE or ITC and how do the
Seimens compare to them.
