Title should read: Oticon Mini-Rites
I have acquired two (left and right) used Oticon Mini-Rites. The left appears to be a medium with open dome, the right appears to be a power model with molded (not custom) dome. They both work, though the right aid seems to offer a much better hearing 'experience'.
From my research, it seems that both should be adjustable in volume, that they both should 'sync' (interactive volume control) and that both should be programmable.
In playing with them, it seems that I can make no volume adjustment on either one or that either is programmed.
How can I:
- assess if these are paired (sync'ed)?
- assess the basic functionality of the left aid?
- determine if either are programmed?
- program them myself if they are not programmed?
They both make the start-up tone when turned on (battery compartment closed).
