Have an older iCube and wish to program a pair of Audeo S Smart.

Does anyone have that particular version? I understand that newer versions don't support iCube.

Thanks

Hi @spctrbytz Welcome;
Read your PM/Conversation for information on how to find Phonak Target 6.1.

Note that Phonak has made many improvements for digital hearing aids since the Audeo S Smart model. In other words, it is somewhat old technology.

Hi PVC. Just reckon my icube2 doesn't work with the latest version of Target too. Would appreciate link to download Target 6.1 too.

Btw, noted that you said Phonak has made many improvements since Audeo S Smart (I'm using Audeo B-R). Wonder what are those improvements and would they significantly help high frequency loss users? Thinking if I should get a new pair of aids.

Your question about what has changed since 2016-Q2 release of (→ Audéo B-R Rechargable) requires research. Try clicking the links in the following Clip from a DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) PDF File named (Big-5 Platforms Chips); Also you should note that the entire "B" release with the exception of one new model (the Audéo B-Direct which contained a new SWORD wireless radio) was the same hardware as the previous Venture platform. Well there were new cases. But that was all. The specifications were the same as Venture platform models!!

* Audéo B-Direct is an oddball release. Though all hearing aids had new cases (and a slight software improvement/Soundrecover2) only one model (Audéo B-Direct) was new hardware with a new wireless Radio named SWORD. Rest was older Venture hardware. One year later this was put back in-sync with the Marvel platform. Also, Costco's Brio3 and Brio2 are the same.
