Phonak target software

Hi @pvc I'm a new Phonak Audeo Lumity L90 user and would greatly appreciate if you could share a link to download the Phonak Target software. Additionally, will I need any other hardware or will my hearing aids, a windows laptop and the software be enough to edit the devices settings? Thanks

How to connect pc to hearing aid?
Here's a clip from a DIY School PDF File named (02 How to Program your Hearing Aids);

Step 1 – Install Fitting Software on a Windows computer FIRST
Complete this Step-1 first. Get the fitting software setup and ready to recognize your specific model hearing aid. For assistance in finding software, read the DIY School file named (01 Free Hearing Aid Fitting Software). Setup the software on a Windows computer before you start spending money on equipment. You will need the latest version of fitting software for recent model hearing aids, or maybe the legacy version for older models. The software is free and “generally available”. Though, some manufacturers like to hide it, or make it very difficult to obtain. You may ask what’s the reason for doing this step first? This step is a free step. But some find this first step technically challenging, or impossible to complete, so why start spending money for gear when you may face failure on this first/free step? Another reason for doing this first is, the software may pre-load a driver for later use by your hearing aid programming device.

Step 2 - Purchase a hearing aid programming device
For DIY self programming you will need a hearing aid programming device/hardware. Bluetooth Pairing technology is for streaming Audio and such. You are not streaming Audio. Also, you cannot use Remote fitting. Please read a DIY School file named (01 Free Hearing Aid Fitting Software) as to why.

Selecting the correct programming device is not a trivial step because older/legacy hearing aids use cables and such to connect the hearing aid programming device to the hearing aids. In order to avoid Noahlink Wireless driver problems, try installing the fitting software first (before plugging in your programming device) If you do encounter Noahlink Wireless driver problems, read a DIY School PDF file named (Noahlink Wireless - Instructions For Use) and scroll down to a section named (Noahlink Wireless Driver Errors).

and for Phonak Audeo Lumity L90, the hearing aid programming device you need is Noahlink Wireless 2 or Noahlink Wireless if you happen to find the older version for a big discount.

Ciao; Read your PM/Private Message/Conversation for info on how to find Phonak Target 10.0.0

so now you just need the configurator, right?
Someone was complaining in the chat about refrigerator-like noises from their phonaks. do you know where the conversation was or how they solved it?

Configurator??
To change the settings in your hearing aids you need the correct hearing aid fitting software for your hearing aid model, and you also need the correct hearing aid programming device for your hearing aid model (which is usually Noahlink Wireless 2 or Noahlink Wireless) for hearing aid models that are new-or-recent models..

refrigerator-like noises?
I couldn't find any reference to refrigerator-like noises except for a reference in another forum that pointed to → this Video. Though the spoken language is English so you may have translation problems??

yes, right I'm referring to phonak target and using Noahlink for the modifications. I guess nothing else is needed, correct? I have Phonak Audeo Paradise

Yes, I think it's that video

NOAHlink is an old obsolete hearing aid programming device so I think you meant (Noahlink Wireless 2 or Noahlink Wireless) which is the correct programming device for Phonak Paradise, and install Phonak Target on a Windows PC because the newest ARM/Apple computers do not have a driver for Noahlink Wireless!

Start with the four steps listed in a DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) PDF File named (02 How to Program your Hearing Aids);
  • Step 1 – Install Fitting Software on a Windows computer FIRST
  • Step 2 - Purchase a hearing aid programming device
  • Step 3 – Choose (1 of 3) origins for measuring your hearing loss
  • Step 4 – Save your Original Professional Settings (if any)

But which are the differences between noahlink wireless 1 or 2?
You can read about that in a DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) PDF File named Noahlink Wireless 2 – DIY User Guide.
Or, here's a forum link on the subject → Now Released - Noahlink Wireless 2 !!

The DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) access portals are at your finger tips via 24/7 cloud storage access.
  • Start here → DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) to find the access portals
  • You can easily find the Access Portals again/anytime, by clicking any PVC Avatar (click twice - counting the 2nd popup Avatar)
