Hi, I'm exploring the idea of adjusting my own hearing aids but am unsure of equipment I may need. I have Phonak Audeo B hearing aids and target 10 software but not sure of the device I need to communicate between the two.
Would the Noahlink Wireless 2 Bluetooth 5.3 Digital Hearing Aid Programmer be compatible with my Phonak Audeo B hearing aids ?
Regards
Stu

FYI; the DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) access portals are at your finger tips via 24/7 cloud storage access.
  • Start here → DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) to find the access portals
  • You can easily find the Access Portals again/anytime, by clicking any PVC Avatar (click twice - counting the 2nd popup Avatar)
  • When logged in, you can find the Access Portals again/anytime, by clicking a Link in my Signature
  • And finally, you can perform a simple Internet search for "DIY School Hearing Aids"

Sorry, my replies got messed up (were late in showing the latest change); Also see this → post.

Hi Stu; It depends on which model Phonak Audeo B you want to connect to the Phonak Target fitting software because the B-Belong platform (circa 2017-Q3) was an "funny" platform release for Phonak. There was only one new model, (the Audéo B-Direct (which had the new SWORD wireless radio). The other Belong models are the same as previous platform Venture models (circa 2014-Q4). Note that this makes Costco's Brio2 and Brio3 the same hearing aid.

Here's a partial clip from a DIY School Legacy Hearing Aids (v2.2) PDF File named
(Choose Hardware-Programming Device for Phonak);
  • Legend: NW = Noahlink Wireless/Caution: Noah, NOAHlink & Noahlink Wireless are 3 different things
  • Legend: HP = (Hi Pro or mini Pro) with Phonak/Unitron cs44-a cables and also maybe flexstrips or adapters

So do you know which model Audéo B you have?

2017-3Q Audéo B-10 RIC = iCube II

Are you surprised that your hearing aid are 7 years old (10 years old)? When hearing aid manufacturers suffer from FOFB (Fear Of Falling Behind) they sometimes do odd things to make their old models look new ;)

Sorry I calculated wrong. It's 10 years old because Venture was first released in 2014-Q4.

Not that surprised as I inherited them from my sister when she upgraded

Don't tell Sis :)

But maybe you can advise her in the future if you watch the "new" features trotted out by each manufacture. Or, Not. It depends on how much time you want to devote to learning about each manufacturer's new release.
