I have had many hearing aids since 1983. I think they were Starkey and Oticons. Eventually, I lost all my hearing due to otosclerosis and am totally deaf. I hear now with two cochlear implants from Cochlear America. I had the behind the ear units for about 7 years and currently have the Kanso models that are totally contained in small units that attach with magnets to the side of my head. My hair covers them so most people cannot see them. With the Kanso units I do not look like a hearing impaired person any more. My word recognition is greater than 95% in a sound booth. They work quite well.

are you happy you have them? I have worn hearing aides most of my life....50+ years and they have been analog which they no longer make and many have told me that I will not like the newer aides
