How to get Starkey Pro Fit?

Hi @chasone
Please read your conversation for how to find Starkey ProFit

Important: To run the Starkey software, you must run PatientBase, not the software itself! The first time you run PatientBase, you will be asked to specify a username and password. Choose an easy-to-remember username and password and keep it in mind or you will be locked out of PatientBase!

There are three software components. PatientBase is required, and then optionally, choose to install one or both of the fitting software components depending on your needs.
  • PatientBase (client database)
  • Starkey Inspire X (for Legacy hearing aids) is hidden
  • Starkey ProFit (for newer/current hearing aids) is hidden
Starkey can be setup to run as single-brand (Starkey), or setup to run as Multi-Brand, see the DIY School Hearing Aids PDF file (Unlocking ReBranded Hearing Aids) for a list of other ReBranded models.

I searched everywhere for the software. can anyone send me the download link?

Hi,

I would like to get access to how to find and install Starkey ProFit. I am looking to upgrade my aides to either Edge or Genesis AI.

I already have Inspire X and patientbase for my Livio AIs but wouldn’t hurt to have a refresher in the event something is out of date or needs an update

I have read the getting started guide actually the last time I worked to upgrade my aides

Huge thank you for providing this. Ironically the best fitting aides I’ve had are my Livio AIs where I did all the programming work myself. Was such a dream difference!

Also do you recommend getting the Edge AIs or the Genesis AIs? I can’t tell right off the bat which is the better version between the two. Last any recommended locations you might suggest I can purchase a set of these with custom molds and 312 batteries?

Hi @Koi; Welcome;
Please Read your PM/Private Message/Conversation for information for how to find (Starkey Pro Fit 2024.1 aka Setup 4.0).

Firstly, I don't recommend specific hearing aid models because I don't wear them. You might look a the following link to some new technology (Starkey says they invented this) → New Hearing Aid Technology with (AI DNN/Deep Neural Network)

Secondly; some? most? (maybe all?) custom molds are made by the hearing aid manufacturer and they only work with professional audiologists who have an account with the manufacturer. But sometimes you can get stuff on the side from overseas? I don't know much about that.

Third-of-all; All new hearing aid models are switching to (Li-ion/built-in/non-replaceable batteries). Though, some legacy models that have a battery door and use zinc-air batteries can still be found. Read a DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) PDF File named (Li-ion Rechargeable Battery History).

The DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) access portals are at your finger tips via 24/7 cloud storage access.
  • Start here → DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) to find the access portals
  • You can easily find the Access Portals again/anytime, by clicking any PVC Avatar (click twice - counting the 2nd popup Avatar)
  • When logged in, you can find the Access Portals again/anytime, by clicking a Link in my Signature
  • And finally, you can perform a simple Internet search for "DIY School Hearing Aids"

Thanks I appreciate this! Ya the day I do rechargeable aides will be the day I have two pairs. One for day and one for night so I don’t run out of battery power. The battery models I use now go dead in 3 days so it scares me when they say it’ll last at best 30 hours. I can see these draining out in 12-16 hours

Appreciate the feedback!

Say I install that upgraded patientbase software and upgraded Inpsire X software. Will this delete the previously installed Patientbase/Inspire X?
It will replace the software. Your client information and fitting sessions should remain intact.
Also can I transfer the data on my current Inspire X over to the updated Inspire X after installation?
No need because client information and fitting sessions should remain intact.

I believe that's the way it works. However; even if your database fitting sessions were to (go away, or get destroyed) you still have the last settings in your hearing aids and you could start from that. You face this same risk if you were to have a catastrophic computer failure.

Hi, I am looking for the Starkey pro-fit software, please can anyone help. I understand there is a "pay if forward" policy in place here
