Hello from Pappy 2 in Florida.

To Summarize;
  1. Use the TV setup menu to ensure the soundbar is recognized via the ARC connection. This will use your TV's (ARC/Audio-Return Channel) to provide Audio using the One/Yellow HDMI cable connection to your soundbar. It's a two-way connection!
  2. Once you get the (ARC/Audio-Return Channel) working over that One/Yellow HDMI cable, then your Blue Optical Out from your TV is redundant. Your soundbar no longer needs the optical cable.
  3. Connect the unused Blue Optical cable to your Streamer+
  4. Pair your hearing aids with Streamer+ (a required step)
  5. Start (and stop) the Audio Streaming process on your hearing aids (usually a long hearing aid button press to switch hearing aid programs). I press and then count (one-thousand-one) and then release the hearing aid button. This can also be done using a cellphone App.

Okay. I do have two outputs going into sound bar. I will try your suggestions and see what happens. Maybe a day or two. I’m an old guy..

My TV Settings Menu may be different from yours (Settings/All Settings/Sound/set HDMI ARC to On);

I’ll be a few days before I try the setup. Right now I’m preparing for this damn hurricane. Going right over us..
