It is unlikely that you will find a bargain. You could look for a GN ReSound Airlink 2.Assuming a miracle doesn’t happen within the next couple of days, I have no option other than ordering a Noahlink wireless 2 from China. Do you think it would be worthwhile raising a separate post on the forum asking if anyone has one for sale? I am in the UK.
See this topic → Woah!! Noahlink Wireless for $44, MAYBE SOLD OUT!! - (free shipping)
What type of communication? Streaming is a (somewhat simple, well defined, continuous) wireless protocol. But you cannot use this simple streaming protocol to update memory inside your hearing aid (which is what needs to happen). And, at the end of a fitting session, there needs to be an option to keep the changed hearing aid settings, or restore the previous settings to your hearing aid memory. A continuous wireless streaming protocol can't do this. And, we haven't even talked about firmware updates to replace the brains (so to speak) of your hearing aids. The engage aids definitely pair directly with the PC. I would still love to find out the detailed technical reason why communication is not possible in the same way as it was with the streamer 3.1
The wireless (or even wired) communications protocol for reading/writing your hearing aid memory/firmware is more complicated than a continuous wireless streaming protocol.
