DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) aka DIY Self Programming for Hearing Aids

Hoh-Community member tomhongkong had → this to say
Which I will post a copy here...
Success! I rebooted and restarted everything including a reset on the connexx air and followed the instructions. Once I connected the connexx to USB I was able to install the firmware update to 2.6, and could then detect my Silk 7x and read the setting info

From → ConnexxAir User Manual Page22;

Troubleshooting Problem and possible solutions
Connection to the hearing instruments cannot be established (middle LED is flashing slowly)
■Ensure that the hearing instruments are within operating distance and turned on.
■Ensure that the neckloop is plugged in completely.
■Ensure that the hearing instruments are compatible with ConnexxAir.

Connection to the dongle cannot be established (all threeLEDs are flashing green from left to right).
■Ensure that the dongle is plugged and within operating distance.
■Ensure that dongle and ConnexxAir fit together. The programming software Connexx provides special service functions under "Preferences > Devices".
■If you have a new dongle, you have to manually pair it with ConnexxAir: Press the pairing button shortly.

ConnexxAir is not responding
■Use a long thin tool, for example a wooden or plastic toothpick, and press the reset button.

My guess, maybe drivers/firmware and such are provided by the fitting software and device reset may facilitate a refresh?

These Guys connected KS7's with → Connexx is 8.4.5.555 and RexFit is 8.3.0.217

Typically this also means the latest version will work too; Connexx 9.9.3/RexFit9.9.0 for Rexton Newer/Current
My PM/Conversation says this is working now. Looks like installing the current/latest version Connexx 9.9.3/RexFit9.9.0 has fixed things, including the missing driver for ConnexxAir Dongle. :D I think I interpreted the final results from my PM/Conversation correctly about successfully connecting the Costco Kirkland Signature/KS7 hearing aids.

Hi @dyuan Welcome;
Read you PM/Conversation soon for information on how to find HANSATON scout 5.4.0.27701

@pvc Hello my friend, how are you? I'm looking for signia software version 8.5.1, to program an Intuis 3m, the latest version I have is 8.3.2, it doesn't support Intuis 3, only Intuis 2. In version 9 I tested it and I also couldn't program it, I believe that 8.5.1 is compatible with this device.

Hi @stillinfo :)
Generally there is a Legacy version and a Current version. But Signia had some sort of hiccup so there is also an Intermediary version. Here's a clip from a DIY School Hearing Aids PDF File named (01 Free Hearing Aid Fitting Software). Based on this I think you need Connexx 6.5.5/SiFit 6.10.3 for Signia older/legacy. Check your PM/Conversation shortly for how to find it.

Connexx Signia/Siemens

Connexx6.5.5/SiFit6.10 for Signia older/legacy is hidden
. You will need to use the suggested PROCEDURE FOR HIDDEN SOFTWARE near the end of this file. Model names; (Motion, Life, Pure, Aquaris, Eclipse, iMINI, Explorer, Nitro, Intuis, Phoenix G3, Lotus).

Connexx7.5.2/SiFit7.5.1 for Signia intermediary/legacy is hidden. You will need to use the suggested PROCEDURE FOR HIDDEN SOFTWARE near the end of this file. Model names; (Carat bx, Pure bx, Pure mi, Ace bx, Ace mi, Motion bx, Motion mi, Life mi, Aquaris mi, Insio bx, Insio mi, Nitro mi, Orion 2, Orion, Sirion 2, Sirion). Note: This special intermediate version has an updater, but there are no updates for this version, so you'd better choose the (don't activate the update manager) option. Also, this special intermediate version cannot coexist with the newer/current version described below.

Connexx9.11.5/SiFit9.11.5 (or latest) for Signia Newer/Current is hidden. You will need to use the hidden software instructions suggested at the end of this document. Model names (new models can be added) (Pure C&G IX, Pure C&G T IX, Click ITE Silk IX, Styletto, Styletto X Styletto AX, Styletto Connect, CROS, Pure C&G AX, Pure 312 AX, Pure C&G X, Pure 312 X, Pure 312 Nx, Pure 13 Nx, Pure 10 Nx, Intuis 3, Motion 13 BT primax, Motion primax, Active, Silk X, Silk Nx, Insio C&G AX, Insio Nx, Isio primax).

Oh,
Oh, Intuis 3. Sorry, I was hella busy and will look around some more.
Check your PM/Conversation for information about how to find Connexx 8.5.1/SiFit 8.5.1

Some say you cannot connect Signia (Intuis 3m models) using the latest version of Connexx9.11.5/SiFit9.11.5 (or latest) for Signia Newer/Current hearing aids. HMm; I can't see why not? Though, I am using simulation and not actually trying to connect. So there's that. Also be careful about which Hearing Instrument Database (aka SiFit) you are using. Depending on where you get the Connexx software is may be paired with a different/earlier database.

I'm having trouble setting this up. It is cut off near the end of the installation. I am using Windows 11. Where could I be doing wrong?

Tested Working version of Widex Compass GPS 4.7 is available.
See your PM/Conversation on how to find Widex Compass GPS 4.7.

It's a little tricky to Install Compass GPS because it has a secret password. See details in a DIY School Hearing Aids PDF File named (01 Free Hearing Aid Fitting Software); and see partial DIY School clip below;

Special note about Widex Compass GPS username and password: The first time you install Compass GPS, you will be presented with an option (Add shortcut to desktop). Yes, you should click "Next" to accept the desktop shortcut as it contains the default username and password for the Compass GPS client database. This is necessary because none of us know what the password is?

which program, which is suitable for Resound Ambio 77
We know how to find Danavox Danafit 1.5 for Legacy Models (Gala, Aio, Tera, EOS, Logar, SAP). Unfortunately we don't know how to find fitting software for more recent GN ReSound products like Ambio?

It could be GN ReSound Smartfit with a pin-code lock or it could be some other DanaWhatEver name software that we don't know about??

Here's some links;
Sorry for the Dead End road. I believe that's all we know thus far.
