Howdy
I have some new
TruHearing 7Li Ion advance RIC RT.
Trying to connect direct to TV without streamer by Signia for 200 that seems unnecessary.
If new why won’t they connect.
Audiologist maybe forgot software?

There’s a reason why your hearing aids won’t connect and it’s the same reason they won’t connect to a Windows 11 PC, greed. Even if your hearing aids have the latest LE Bluetooth CODIC, the manufacturer of your hearing aids wants you to spend more money buying their TV streamer. Getting you to spend an additional $250 to connect your hearing aids to your Bluetooth enabled TV, is just more profit for the manufacturer of your hearing aids.

That's not the reason Bro. The technology for power-sipping devices with a recently built-in (miniaturized wireless radio/hardware for the latest wireless protocol) is not as simple as some may think.

For example: this link to a → Reference You will need to scroll down to find this text;
Oticon Intent utilizes next-generation Bluetooth® LE Audio that supports modern connectivity standards. This includes those Made for iPhone® devices with iOS 15.2 or later and select Android™ phones with OS 14 and newer updates, tablets and PCs. It is also compatible with select Android phones for one-way direct streaming with the Audio Streaming for Hearing Aids (ASHA) protocol.† Users can now seamlessly connect to a wide range of devices and accessories for hands-free calling, direct streaming of music and audiobooks, and more. Furthermore, it is a future-proof hearing aid, ready for future communication technologies, such as Auracast™.††

Don't get me wrong. I don't think the HA manufacturers are Saints. Sometimes they lie-n-cheat to keep up appearances about falling behind other manufacturers.

One example was the Phonak B-Belong platform (circa 2017-Q3). There was only one new model, (the Audéo B-Direct (which had the new SWORD wireless radio). The other Belong models are the same-as-previous-platform Venture models (circa 2014-Q4) except they all had new cases, I guess new cases were already designed (or easy to make). AND,, since the one new model (Audéo B-Direct) was a flop, then the entire platform was sameo/sameo - nothing new. Also Note that this makes Costco's Brio2 and Brio3 the same hearing aid.

Pfft!
