Yikes - My Local VA Oticon Rechargeable Battery Replacement requires Factory Repair

The senior audiologist at my VA Audiology department told me today that they don't change the Oticon batteries. Instead, they send your hearing aids (perhaps one-at-a-time) back for factory repair.

I wonder if this is all VA facilities? Or just my local facility?
 
That's interesting to know. This must be a VA (or local VA) thing because Oticon has openly advertised that battery replacement can be done at the HCP's office.
 
Yeah, I'm thinking the same. That it's most likely a local policy.
