Widex is still kicking! We haven't any seen new tech from Widex in such a long time I thought they were fading into the sunset

The new Allure model features the (AI/Artificial Intelligence DNN/Deep Neural Network) for noise reduction using a new W1 chip. So they are joining several other manufacturers in switching to this new technology for improving speech in noise.

Also, there is the new-fangled (Widex Compass Cloud, the world's first cloud-based fitting software). What the heck is that? If you think about it, all fitting software is cloud-based, I mean, the cloud is already the source. So I think it means they are getting rid of their Update Manager for Widex Compass GPS software, and moving it behind a paywall for professional accounts.
