The DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) PDF file named (Unlocking ReBranded Hearing Aids) has been updated to include instructions for unlocking the following ReBranded Bernafon Hearing Aid models as shown in this clip from the updated PDF file.

Bernafon Oasis 26.2 for ReBranded Veras

Bernafon Oasis 26.2 software can be used to program (ReBranded Bernafon Veras=Chronos) hearing aids without using a special code for unlocking the Veras model. See this → forum post.

Bernafon Oasis 26.2 for Bit, Magic, Piu, X-Power, Adiva, Nova, Way

Install a specific (Oasis26 Install Code 5624-9800-0800) version which will ask for an Install Code. Enter 5624-9800-0800 as the Install Code for access to the following ReBranded hearing aid models; Brands = Bit, Magic, Piu, X-Power, Adiva, Nova, and Way. Hearing Aid models = HELIOS I, MONDO I, NOVA, WAY, MIRUM, SELECTO, PHAROS, X-POWER, CANTEO, SHITE, PRECISO. Special Thanks → @menglxs.

Bernafon OasisNxt for Maico

Install a specific Oasis 26.2+OasisNXT-Maico 2020.1 version which will ask for an Install Code. Enter 5628-3639-0805 as the Install Code for access to the following ReBranded hearing aid models Maico (Coral, Capto, Altena). You may find this version somewhat troublesome because the Bernafon (Maico version) and the standard Bernafon Oasis/OasisNxt versions cannot co-exist. Also, the Bernafon Updater will not work to update this Custom Maico version. Special Thanks → @menglxs.

Anomaly: as pointed out by HoH-community members @sajjad and @menglxs in these → forum posts, forum posts; Sometimes when you unlock certain ReBranded hearing aid models, then you may temporarily lose the ability to take future fitting-software updates. We have noticed this with Phonak Target and Unitron TrueFit. Don’t worry too much because you can revert back to the standard version. Though, this shows that running these rebranded versions may require some level of isolation.
