TV Adapter Streamers - connect to TV Optical Out, not Audio Video Receiver Optical Out

For those of you with Surround-Sound systems, the Audio Codecs in your Audio Video Receiver may become obsolete over time. When/If that happens you may lose the ability to use your TV Adapter when watching new/recent movies.

So connect the Optical Out on your TV to your hearing aid TV Adapter. Your TV may do a better job of down-leveling newer audio codecs to something that you can stream.

Bummer. That only works for some sound-tracs. Sometimes I get an echo/delay between TV audio signal and the Surround-Sound audio signal.
