First post, and maybe a dumb question but I did a search and didn't find an answer....

I'm close to getting my first pair of hearing aids, probably Starkey Edge AI RICs, and have read about the Edge TV Streamer.

At present (without aids), I have two choices - if I watch TV by myself, I can connect my BT headphones to the TV and set the volume at a comfortable level. But if others are in the room, I have to disconnect the headphones - my Samsung TV will only send audio to the speaker OR to the BT channel.

With the Edge TV Streamer, will it be possible to have audio go both places? e.g., stream to my aids, *and* still play through the speaker for others in the room?

(I'm hoping "yes" - that would be a game changer in my household)

You should also have the ability to adjust/(raise or lower) your hearing aids microphone level so that it matches the volume level of your streaming volume. When adjusted correctly you can hear the person(s) seated next to you at a normal volume.
