I have recently started wearing Oticon Intent 1 hearing aids. For general hearing they are satisfactory.
However I'm having issues with listening to the dialogue on the TV.
Voices sounds hollow and tinny. Has anyone experienced this problem?
I would appreciate some some advice.
Thanks

Hi @diyeo Welcome;
Yep, that happens all the time. But the streaming settings can be changed in the Oticon fitting software, namely Oticon Genie2 2024.2. This can be done by you as a DIY self fitter. Though you will also need a hearing aid programming device, namely Noahlink Wireless 2.

It could also be done by your Audi. But how the heck will he/she know what you listening preferences are? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This example is for a Cellphone but the same/similar applies to TV Adapter;

Also; the DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) access portals are at your finger tips via 24/7 cloud storage access.
  • Start here → DIY School Hearing Aids (v2.2) to find the access portals
  • You can easily find the Access Portals again/anytime, by clicking any PVC Avatar (click twice - counting the 2nd popup Avatar)
  • When logged in, you can find the Access Portals again/anytime, by clicking a Link in my Signature
  • And finally, you can perform a simple Internet search for "DIY School Hearing Aids"
