I have started using a pair of Starkey Halo IQ i1600s as my first hearing aids for my reverse slope hearing loss, so I don’t have a lot to compare them to, but so far I’m understanding speech much better and using the application on my iPhone to customize sound for specific environments such as noisy restaurants, TV watching etc. the mid to high tones are still a bit electronic sounding to me even after 2 fittings, but I’m hoping to resolve that. The direct connection to my iPhone has been amazing for both talking on the phone as well as streaming media.
