New member here. Just got my Widex Beyonds a few days ago. 40 years old and have had hearing loss and tinnitus for somewhere around 18 years, finally caved in and got the aids. It’s been a crazy few days so far. Picked up my aids in the morning and that evening my wife went into labor with our third son. Because of that there was no easing into them had them, in for 14 hours before I took them out. Interesting getting used to them. My experience so far has been good, sometimes rustling plastic and paper makes me cringe. Conversations are better but I’m hoping for a little more after my next appointment, my Audiologist set the volumes low so I could get accustomed to the aids. I almost feel like I could have her to it now. Has anyone else experienced a short acclamation process? Looking forward to this journey.

Hi there. I'm new too and getting hearing aids, had a bad experience with a previous audiologist but found a new place. Check my posts out about how i was treated. :O Congrats on the new bundle of joy and i hope all is well :)! I'm not sure if I can help you out but if you are comfortable you can always go back. I had a pair before which somebody tampered with and you can always go back and ask them to change things for you. :) Best of luck! ^^
