I have a hearing loss that is pretty much heriditary as both my parents have to wear hearing aids and for about three years I have been using MDHearingAid Pro also known as acoustitone pro. These are analog and believe it or not they work pretty good or so I thought.
I recently was fitted with a basic line of digital hearing aids that I see now that even though the acoustitone works they do not work as well as digital. I am totally blown away and so happy.
I know that these are considered very basic but as well as I hear with these I wonder why a more expensive pair would even be necessary.
I was fitted by the Audiologist with the Unitron Shine Moda II just last week. Now I see that they have possibly discontinued these. 
They work so well too.
