Hi, I want to change my receiver on My Rexton Bicore C R-LI T hearing aids. I will be removing the 3s receiver and replacing it with a 3m receiver. It gives me a better fit for my hearing loss. I know it looks painfully simple. I am a little embarrassed asking for help. I have seen a few videos of it being done . But none of the videos have any verbal instructions. I am wondering if there are any tricks ie pull in a certain direction or anything to release before i pull it out. It looks like just pull it straight out then push in the new one until it clicks. Is it really that simple? thank you for chiming in.

btw it is a receiver in canal style hearing aid.

This link to a → Rexton Video shows that you pull it out (by pinching it at the end of the wire near the hearing aid), and then click the new one in, first by setting it in place, and then click it into its final position using a fingernail.

Try both the remove-and-insert procedure with your old (3s receiver) until you are comfortable. Then, move on to inserting your new 3m receiver.

Yes, it is a RIC (receiver in canal). In hearing aid terminology receiver is another name for speaker. But no one calls it speaker in canal.
