Genie 2 installation failed

I'm installing Genie 2 on a newly acquired Windows 10 laptop and I'm getting an error:

The installation failed

MS Visual C++ 2015 Redist

Thoughts?
 
Which Genie 2, was it Genie2 2023.1?

Note that forum images may appear as icons (not full size) until you are Logged in as a forum member.
Genie 2 System Requirements do allow for Windows 10 (and even Win8, Win7);

HMm; How about the Windows/Control Panel view of MS Visual C++? Does yours look like mine?

Use Start/Settings and search for Control Panel, and choose view by small icons, and choose Programs and features.
 
I reinstalled the Visual C++ Redist and Genie installed OK.

2023.2 has now installed via the updater.
 
Oh, and a new .2 release of Genie 2. I will go check that out. Thanks for the update.
