Hello, what is the method of duplicating settings from one aid to the other? I need to copy the settings from the left to the right one.

Thank you in advance.

HMm; I don't believe there is a copy left to right feature, (or copy right to left feature) that I know of? Do you mind if we ask what you are trying to accomplish? If this is because your hearing seems better in one ear and worse in the other ear, then this is not the way to handle it. It is unlikely that your hearing loss is symmetrical (the same in both ears). So the Gain/Rx/Prescription applied to one side will not work well for the other side. Hearing losses are different for each ear.

Do you have an Audiogram (as example; Click the link in my Signature below) when logged in?

We can probably devise a way to do this; But please answer the question as to why?
  • setting the adaptation manager to completed (the manager gradually increases gain to 100%, giving time to get used to loud sounds)
  • increasing the number of gain handles displayed
  • making a paper copy of the gain handles on one side
  • manually entering those gain handles on the other side

Thank you for your response. I have equal loss in both ears. So the settings of my aide were identical for the right and left. A couple of weeks ago when I had a hearing test, audiologist told me nothing changed but he did connect my aids to his system and made some tweaks. When I left I noticed the left side was louder. I called to inquire, he said he by mistake changed the settings for the left aid. He is 4 hours away from me. So I wanted to know if there is a way to transfer the settings from the right to left.

I ended up asking ChatGPT and got the answer, that once both aids are connected, from the drop down menu choose transfer, and select right -> left which copied the settings.

Thank you.
